I have a beautiful library space, but my collection is dated and the majority of the titles have characters who do not look like the students in my school. They do not have the same life experiences as the characters in the majority of our books. Many of my students are not huge reading fans, and I am certain they would be more excited to try out books with more relatable characters. My number one objective this year is to help students find books that they love. I am excited to provide a much more diverse collection to the entire campus through our library.
