This upcoming school year will mark my third year teaching literacy at Rocketship Brilliant Minds Elementary School and the second year I have moved up with the same group of students. I feel ridiculously fortunate to have the opportunity to continue working with these hard-working individuals and their dedicated families. Recognizing the tremendous impact following them from 3rd to 4th grade has made, I am excited to guide them through their transition into middle school scholars. I plan to continue to incorporate technology in the classroom and apply a project-based learning approach that has increased engagement and the development of soft skills. My students impress and inspire me everyday, and I hope to create a space that fosters creativity, encourages collaboration, and accommodates their individual needs.
