My goal is to expand our current Library Makerspace by including a Cricut Explore Air 2 machine. Incorporating this machine in the Library would allow our students to create unique projects and allow teachers the opportunity to create interactive spaces in their classes. This device would draw attention to the school Library and help make it a hub for the entire campus community. The tools needed for this item, such the weeding tools, cut mats, basic Core tools, and the heat press machine will allow for diverse projects to be created. The Peg Board hook kit will help to keep the Cricut space organized and really add to the welcoming atmosphere that embodies a well-thought out learning and creating space. The adhesive vinyl sheets, permanent vinyl, as well as the heat transfer vinyl will be a great starting project for teachers and students to get comfortable with using the machine and programs included.
