I currently have a split position in our school district. Half my time is teaching a wonderful group of 6th-8th grade students with high functioning Autism. We work on communication, social, and executive functioning skills. Also, starting this year I will spend half my time supporting other special education teachers across the district through professional development. In this role, I will be responsible for helping provide professional development to teachers for an entire district's special education population. This includes students ranging from age 3-21 with Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Autism, Intellectual and Physical Challenges, Visual and Hearing Impairments, and more.

About my class
