Our students are creative, they learn through doing and they're becoming increasingly tech-savvy. We want to foster these traits and enhance their "possibility thinking" by putting the power of a MakerBot 3D printer in their hands. Students are already using tools like the iPad to think critically, communicate, and collaborate. When our kids leave elementary school, we want them to have had the best experience ever...without limits. Our community has been so supportive. We see this project as a means to personalize student learning like never before! Students thrive when learning through doing and creating. We know that the MakerBot will help them learn valuable skills in a way that a worksheet could never do.
