The students at our school are amazing. Many of them come from low income families and some very tough home situations. Parents work long hours and often times the middle school students are home taking care of younger siblings. They still come to school with smiles on their faces and work hard to improve their futures through education. Our Motto at the school is "Learning by Doing". The students have been much more successful this past year since we added more hands on curriculum type classes and activities. We have added even more of these classes for this fall. My new Teen Living Class is one of those "learning by doing" classes that can benefit the students at my school and help them prepare for the future.
