Hi, I'm Mrs. Alessandro. I am a special education resource room teacher in Methuen, Massachusetts. Each day I get the opportunity work with some really amazing students both in and out of the general education setting. The resource room program supports students in class by providing additional staff support, resources, materials and activities that are tailored to the specific needs of my students. Some students are seen outside of the general education classroom in a small group setting to get more instruction in subject areas that require more a specialized approach. We also support our students throughout the day with establishing and maintaining routines and organization, during transition times and with social opportunities. We are working to support our students in building skills so they can be the best students that they can be!
