I work in a Title I school in Texas. Many of my students are economically disadvantaged and English Language Learners. The district consists of 70% disadvantaged and 60% percent English Language Learners. Some of my students do not have computers at home and do not have the means to complete research assignments for class. My 5th grade class consists of students from diverse backgrounds and learning challenges. I believe that all students deserve a high quality education and the exposure to new things/ideas.
