My high school is in a high-needs area in Illinois. This request is to help bolster a beginning forensics course with reading material that my students can take out of school and enjoy. The upcoming school year is the first year that the course will be offered as an elective to seniors who want to take another science class. Many of them have poor reading skills and do not attempt to read materials from school as they are boring and dry. These books will give them a chance to see that not all reading has to be this way.
