My first grade students are excited about learning, very active in every lesson, love to participate and take the lead. They are at the stage in their academic journey where every lesson and new story is exciting. As their teacher I see it as my responsibility to get them "hooked" on learning and knowledge. I love when they get excited when I mention a new unit or new lesson. They come from a low income community where extra materials for learning is not always the priority. I would love to introduce these materials to them and show them the process of how we are trying to attain them through Donors choose.
