The topics in chemistry and physics (forces, reaction rates, movement) are explained well in the textbooks. Providing hands-on experiences with top-notch tools is beyond valuable. Usually, I, or the students bring items we have or purchase, which can be time-consuming and expensive, year after year. These science materials will bring new experiences into their hands and will be used to motivate them to continue their "learn by doing" approach in other areas, in school and in their lives. Providing meaningful and memorable science labs expands their learning from novel to curiosity, interesting to captivating, and required to value-driven. I look forward to upping my game and having quality resources available (yearly) will make a tremendous impact.
