The students at my school are amazing and motivating kids. Many of them come from homes where they may not have books, pencils, coats, or even basic needs at times. This means it is my job to help bridge the gap. I must provide them with technology and gain life experiences to get them ready for the world they live in. With so much going on in their lives at home I feel that I must create a love for learning so that they realize how important it is for them to learn. Technology is so important in our world and my county has just been forced to make some cuts in their technology department which means my students may not have a chance to go to a computer enrichment or spend much time learning how to use these tools. I would love to have an iPad in the classroom that they can use in every subject. It is amazing how much one iPad can do in getting the kids excited about learning and helping each student learn at their own level.
