Our students are from a high poverty area, but have performed at high levels historically despite the adversity. The student population is almost a perfect split between students who live in suburbs, and those who live in very rural areas. These students have been accustomed to budget cuts in education which has produced a gap in keeping up to date technology in the classrooms. Our school works very hard to stretch every dollar in order to provide the best possible curriculum for each student. However, in order for these students to compete for jobs in the modern world, technology inside the classroom must keep pace with the changes occurring outside the classroom. With the requested resources, students will have the opportunity to be engaged in our schools first AP Environmental Science class.

About my class
