Here at our small, rural, eastern North Carolina high school, our band is small in number. However, in the last two years, we have undergone a shift in the direction of our music program. We have a core group of students who are focused on becoming proficient musicians, both individually and as a group. Several of our students are contemplating careers in music. Improving EVERY students' playing abilities has become a primary goal of our band classes.
