Due to the current state of our country, many staff members, parents, and students have concerns about school starting back in August. I want to make sure my classroom is a safe space that helps ease the worries and concerns that we are facing. I am big on making sure my classroom feels more like a home than a sterile, boring environment. I don't want my students feeling isolated sitting apart from each other. I want them to be as comfortable as possible to ensure they learn all they can. These bean bags, seats, and lap desks can be easily placed to make sure students are 6 feet apart but will also come in handy when things return to normal. At that point, I will be able to push them together so students can work in groups.
