The majority of my students are language learners and all but one qualify for free or reduced price lunch. Many of them are struggling with basic concepts and are battling personal challenges at home. Those who are at or above grade level need to be challenged and kept motivated to explore and push themselves to go farther. I feel the more they are exposed to all of the wonderful things in the world, the more likely they will pursue higher education.

About my class
