My students are 7th and 8th graders. 95% of my students are on free or reduced lunch. For many the school resources are their only resources. Despite the many challenges that my students face they persevere and are a joy to teach. I find that my students need to have high interest materials to engage them. This novel is very high interest and actually is a request from the student themselves.
