My pre-kindergarten classroom is filled with curious 3 year old and 4 year old minds. For the majority of my students, this is their very first year in a school environment learning how a classroom operates. Everyday, my students come to school excited to learn and grow their brains. Our school is a neighborhood, Title I public school where 98% of students are living in low-income homes and receiving free and reduced lunch. Our classroom is one of 4 pre-kindergarten classrooms in an early childhood center that is connected to the main elementary school building. The vast majority of my students matriculate to the elementary school building and stay in this school until they graduate 8th grade.
