My students are very eager to learn. Our school district has adopted Common Core State Standards. Even though my school is a high poverty Title I school, we are up for the challenge. My fourth grade math and science students are living up to the added rigor of Common Core. My students just need a helping hand with supplies. Many come to school without basic supplies needed for a successful year. I just want to see all of my students thriving without the embarrassment of being without supplies. Our parents are working hard to provide for their children, but sometimes we all need a helping hand! God Bless!
