Hello potential donor! I teach in a small school in Southeast Missouri. I teach in a Functional Special Education Classroom, grades 7 and 8. We like to have fun learning in our room. We do a lot of music and movement. My students also have some extra special needs. We have students with sensory diets. Sometimes we need our own individual area, a cool down spot or quiet time. We utilize weighted vests, tools for fine motor activities and manipulatives for a variety of learning styles. We also are starting a Life Skills Room where we will learn to take care of our needs and possibly help retain a job skill like washing clothes and cooking simple meals. We can educate our students with your generous help. Your time and donation is gladly appreciated.
