My school is a neighborhood school that serves a variety of students. Some students have needed supplies, while others are from an at risk population. We have many positive programs to support students going on throughout the school. Within my classes, we have on going community projects. One class is working to ensure our local police department feels support and the other class is focusing on ensuring our military feel supported. Both classes have established an action plan with steps to carry out their project. With that said, there are needs within our own classroom. I would like to help meet some of those needs. I am so proud of the work my students are putting forth on our community projects, that I decided I needed to complete a project that would benefit them! They are an amazing group of learners. While they are all different and come from a variety of backgrounds, my students love to learn!
