My fifth grade students come to school each day, ready to learn and eager to make a positive change in the world. Our classroom is named after education activist and role model, Malala Yousafzai. Each scholar in our classroom is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge, and knows that education holds the key to their successes today, in middle school, in high school, in college, and beyond. The 75 girls in our community are passionate defenders of the right to learn in safe, nurturing environments, such as our classroom.
