My students are self contained EIP (Early Intervention Program) students. They work very hard and are eager to learn new things. My school is a Title 1 school with the majority of students receiving free and reduced lunch. A free breakfast is offered daily to all students. Our student population consists of many ESOL students. My students look forward to coming to school each day. I make sure I differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all my students. I also make sure I create a warm nurturing learning environment in my classroom. We also give books to our students to help them create a library in their homes. Reading is key to being able to learn in all subjects.
