This year, there are 28 students in our wonderful 5th grade class. There are A LOT of boys in our classroom. There are 17 boys, and only 11 girls. The students in this class love to dance and sing! Anytime we can incorporate this into the school day, we do. The students also still enjoy being read to. This year, we have read Wonder and The Golden Compass. The students here are savvy with technology. They have school gmail accounts, can type, and enjoy making online presentations.We are putting on a school play (Peter Pan), and the kids are super excited! Our school is very small. There are around 350 students here. We have a tight community. Each upper grade class is paired with a lower grade class, and they do "Buddy" activities, which helps our school community.
