Welcome to Engineering and Robotics at Leake County Career and Technical Center. This is a two-year program that is project driven with lab-based STEM activities. Our students take challenges to move forward by experimenting with applied physics in Vex robotics, PLC Future Tek & Intellitek trainers. We apply academic and technical math practices while broadening student's knowledge in engineering disciplines through literacy studies. Students work with multiple software packages on a daily basis advancing their ability to compete in an international work place and market. Our goals are to acquire equipment and supplies that will enable us to enrich this programs' STEM projects aligning us with higher standards and achievements in the Engineering field. These funds will also assist us in Vex, and Skills USA State competitions. All supplies will be utilized repeatedly in future years.
