How do you make a group of 25-30 students feel like the most important group of students in the world when these students are one class of thousands in the Chicago area? How do you make these students feel empowered, motivated, encouraged, strong, and most of all become successful? My third grade students are a very special group of students who have the ability to pursue what they want. It is my job to help support my students in becoming leaders in their community and keep them motivated and engaged in their learning so that success is in their "now" and in their future. The classroom climate and community is growing steady now that students are becoming more aware of what it is like to be and act like a scholar.
