My students need equipment that will help them strengthen their gross motor skills, build confidence, and calm their bodies through sensory input. This means a soft climber tunnel, a Physio Roll Ball and a Gymnastics Ball. Physical development and movement are important for all children. For children with gross motor delay or sensory processing needs it can mean the difference between an agonizing day and an enjoyable and successful one. Our students with special needs will benefit greatly by having the appropriate equipment to help them strengthen and calm their bodies during the school day. This equipment will give them a safe option to fulfill their body's need to move and grow. Our students will be able to strengthen their bodies with our physical therapist and teachers by bouncing, crawling, climbing, and rolling their way through the day.
