My students are English language learners from grades K-5. They not only have to learn English, but academics at the same time, which adds to the challenge. We are a Title 1 school with a high free and reduced lunch population and our school funds only stretch so far. I believe that the Alphabetter desks will allow them to be kids; to stretch out, move around and yet learn at the same time. Some of my students are very busy and have a hard time staying still for class. The desk will allow them the freedom they want to move, while also allowing them to stay in their spot for the lesson.
