My students are wonderful, creative students who are often perceived only as behavior problems and disruptions. In reality, they are children working through years of trauma and negative experiences in and outside of school. They love working on projects together and take pride in their work and accomplishments. My students can succeed when they are given access to engaging curriculum and when the adults working with them in school show them love and commitment.
