I now teach 6th and 8th grade language arts. The school district is 80%-85% low income. Most students receive free breakfast and/or free lunch. Many students have little support at home. It is crucial that my students use every minute they can at school to learn and improve their reading skills. My students love books and I want them to be exposed to a wide variety of reading sources.
