My first graders are busy, active and engaged learners. As we begin station rotation having materials at the ready is key. Many students also like to take the lead and teach their peers what they know. A rolling easel with multiple learning aspects would be the perfect addition to our classroom. Imagine students moving an easel with a writing surface with lines to respond to their learning in writing. Another group could use it for the books or manipulatives that it holds. Still another group could use the magnetic surface in their group to build words in their word work station. My students would love having this educational tool in the classroom.
