Not only am I a Language Arts teacher, but I am the founder of Windber's Angel Project, which helps the needy students of our school district during Christmas time. We provide them with gifts under the tree, warm coats, and new shoes. However, I am creating a backpack program for our less fortunate students that often go hungry during the weekends. I am starting this program from scratch and need all the help that I can get! My parents taught me that if everyone just sat back and did nothing, nothing would get accomplished, so I feel it is my responsibility to help out those who need it.Volunteering is my passion! My girls and I volunteer at the Cambria County Humane Society by taking the animals' pictures and posting them on my photography page to get the animals loving homes!
