Our students are intrigued about the world and love to discover through engaging activities. We build a foundation of knowledge around all content areas through authentic activities, videos or real world objects, hands-on experiments, as well as print materials. Once students learn about a topic, they need the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a way that gets them involved in their own learning. By donating to this project, you will help us provide an experience for students to use higher level thinking to apply skills learned in the classroom towards "unlocking" their own STEM adventure. Can they use the knowledge they have learned and mastered in the classroom to "escape" and solve the challenging puzzle of a breakout box? Absolutely! We want to provide these experiences to all of our students to increase their self-esteem and content knowledge at the same time!
