As it stands, I have 24 traditional desks and chairs in my classroom. This makes movement around the classroom tricky, and to be honest, it doesn't look like much fun. My goal is to provide flexible seating with these bean bag chairs in my classroom to motivate students to do their best work because they'll be more comfortable and look forward to changing up the way they work. I have watched flexible seating work wonders in other classrooms around my school and I am confident that implementing it in my classroom will produce fantastic results as well! There's something to be said about being able to work in a comfortable environment- it allows students to really focus on their work instead of thinking about how uncomfortable they are.
