I am a sixth grade special education teacher at a school whose students come from extreme need. They live in "The Projects" housing units. The students at my school are frequently angry and lash out against each other. Not only do my students come from a very fragile (and often heart-breaking) home lives but they also have learning difficulties and low self esteem. They are frequently teased and forced into fights.
