Our school is predominantly Hispanic. My students are great kids! They really are some of the best kids in our city. They are very respectful and helpful. They receive compliments on their behavior every time they go to a different campus, out of town, or what have you. I have enjoyed the last 16 years teaching at this school. I am also an alum of this school. So I take a lot of pride in teaching the group of kids that come in year after year. With the APOP grant, I am really looking forward to raising the level of expectations at this campus and getting the first AP Calculus BC class started. I know they will step up and get it done.
