It's the bottom of the ninth and we're down by three runs. Bases are loaded. Our star batter steps up to the plate and the crowd of Algebra teachers, student government leaders, and two-year-old little brothers take a collective breath--and holds it. Ping! The batter makes direct contact with the ball, modeling impeccable form for the freshman boys clawing at chain-link fence in the dugout. Pause. This is when the yearbook photographer should be capturing the scene on film, right? Well, unfortunately the drama teacher needed the school camera for a field trip earlier that day and couldn't return it before the big game. How will we ever remember if that hit turned into a championship-winning home run?
