My students are children from all walks of life at the young age of five. They have taught me more about being strong than I could ever teach them. They are thirsty to learn, but school budgets sometimes make quenching this thirst harder than I'd like. My school is highly focused on student achievement and closing the gap. As a previous Middle School teacher, I noticed simple organizational tools setting students back and I'd like to teach these skills at the younger ages to set them up for success later in life.
