I am requesting Magnet Kits from Frey Scientific. These magnet kits will impact my student's learning by allowing them to handle real magnets and observe them first hand, instead of watching a video or using a computer simulation. In my experience, students who get to experience scientific phenomena first-hand are more engaged than students who see the phenomena demonstrated. These magnet kits will provide an essential hands-on experience which will get them excited about exploring the subject of magnets and magnetism. Having several kits available will allow for more students to handle and explore the magnets themselves, which will allow more students to build curiosity and confidence.

About my class
