I have students who are going places in their lives. They have high expectations for themselves. I live in an area where success is demanded and students feel pressure to do well and prepare for college. Many of the students are already successful in school, but are looking for a challenge. The traditional basic skill building assignments that are needed by many of my students are too easy for some. They want to go beyond the basics and creatively explore the world around them.
