As technology becomes ever present in our world, the classrooms need for technology is becoming more and more apparent. Students' knowledge of technology and its uses is surpassing that of what we, as teachers, can provide. With diminishing school budgets, the need for help in this area is crucial. The amazing opportunities that can be afforded to our students can be endless with the addition of more technology. My class is made up of 24 bright, intelligent second graders. Each one of them is special and unique, bringing unique, amazing talents and knowledge to our classroom. They are extremely encouraging and their desire to learn is undeniable. The technology we currently have is exceptional, but there is not ever an opportunity for the students to use it on an individual basis. The kids vary academically, but one thing is for sure ALL students are greatly motivated by utilizing interactive technology.
