I have many students in and out of my classroom each day. I am a Title I teacher so I take small groups of struggling learners. I have up to 50 students enter my room each day. Many of my students just need a little extra instruction to understand skills needed to be successful in the classroom. It may be one topic in math or a wider need such as phonemic awareness. Some of my students just need to talk through what they are reading to build comprehension. Many of my students also have additional difficulties that are not necessarily related to academics but hinders their learning. I have many students that have ADHD, some with autism, and many with family issues. All of these need to be taken into consideration when helping them reach grade level.
