I love teaching technology!!! Not only because it is ever changing, but because it challenges our ideas, allows us to see our lives from different perspectives, and shifts our views of society continuously. Children born in the last twenty years have more information available at their finger tips than most adults did in their lifetime. Although I can only briefly cover a wide variety of technology in my classroom, my goal is to open the mind to the purpose technology can serve in expanding the knowledge base, encouraging students to contribute to the collection of global information, and insisting they embrace their responsibility to be connected to the world.
