Teaching is a career of choice and I would choose no other career! I am always amazed with each and every class of students I have every year. In today's world our classes are full of diversity in every aspect of life. I have students who represent at least one aspect of life. Economic, racial, and religious backgrounds are abundant within my class and the school environment! The student with health issues, the student with no supplies, the student living with grandma and the list could go on. The one true constant is my room is a safe, warm, supportive environment in which ALL students can grow as learners in a supportive, engaging climate! They will leave my class with skills, strategies and confidences in themselves as learners that nothing can hold them back!
