My Students: I have 28 fabulous third graders who come from multicultural backgrounds and from homes that may lack Internet. The kids love reading, researching new and interesting facts online, and we are huge baseball fans too! Having an iPad in the class would be a resource the class can use all day, every day! An iPad will be used to reinforce science, math, reading, and social studies skills through the use of technology. The iPad will also help to meet the new technology common core standards. Students will be able to learn 21st century skills and research projects by accessing the Internet. Not only will it provide a research tool, it will allow an opportunity to download educational apps for struggling learners to practice skills that they need help with and the gifted learners will be able to work ahead on skills.
