I would love to have everyday access to tablets in my classroom. These devices would do wonders for my classroom. I want my students to be able to create digital masterpieces, work collaboratively with classmates and to publish narratives about their artwork. Digital artwork is becoming more and more popular. Becoming college and career ready is everything! What better way than to learn a skill in elementary school that will help them for the rest of their lives. The writing aspect will be a great cross-curricular aspect. My school has very low writing test scores and I feel with the addition of the tablets in my room will help with getting the kids to feel more comfortable with writing.
