The challenge in teaching electricity is to understand something you can’t see and what’s worse, I teach science to 7th and 8th graders in Missouri, the “Show-Me” state. The majority of my students are from a low socioeconomic background and they love science because of the active nature of the subject. I like to break science concepts down into understandable components giving students opportunities to make connections to their own lives.

About my class
