We are turning the tide and making positive strides! I am a 7th grade teacher at a once "problematic" school which has had a bad reputation in the past. However, today it is a different story. We are actually become a model for many schools in our district despite being located in a high-crime area! We have done this with lots of work and dedication and believing in our students, despite the obstacles many of them may face (single-parent homes, English Language Learners, poverty, gang activity etc.).

About my class
