When teaching basic literacy skills, it can become rote and boring but by including engaging materials students will enjoy learning to read. They will get exposure to quality learning activities. In small intervention groups, students will have opportunities to work independently and as partners to practice phonics, fluency, and comprehension. Was learning to read easy for you? For the students in my classroom, they are struggling to master reading. Through the items for my project, students will enjoy success as they engage in these diverse learning activities. Reading is fun!
