How would it feel to know that your generosity positively impacts the reading development of some wonderful children in an economically disadvantaged community? I teach second grade in an inner city school where many of my precious students come to school with little experience with literacy. When they come to school, they need to spend as much time reading as possible. Our district has a wonderful new literacy program and my fantastic students are eager to become better readers.
